When the city green bin is not enough
LA residents on city trash service get a green organics bin from LA Sanitation for regular yard trimmings, and that is the free option for normal weekly volume. It has limits: it only holds so much, it runs on the city's schedule, and nobody loads a big pile for you. For a storm cleanup, a cleared-out yard, or debris that will not fit the bin, we take the whole load at once and do the loading.
