Hoarding cleanup is the careful, respectful clearing of a heavily cluttered home, at the pace the person and family set. Junkline's insured crews sort alongside you, remove only what you choose, keep the work private, and return as many times as it takes. Flat price from photos.
How hoarding cleanup works
We start by walking the home with you and agreeing on a plan and a flat price. Then we work room by room, slowly, sorting with the person rather than around them. You decide what stays and what goes, and nothing leaves without your say-so. We handle the heavy lifting, the hauling, and the disposal, and we come back for as many visits as the situation needs at no extra cost.
Privacy and discretion
This is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Our crews are respectful and discreet, we keep the details of the job private, and we do not photograph the home beyond the pictures you send for the quote. You stay in control of the pace and of who knows.
Hoarding cleanup cost
Hoarding cleanups are priced by volume, from the $75 minimum for a small job and scaling by the truckload for heavier homes, with the exact flat price set from photos before we start. Multi-visit cleanups are included at no extra cost. When the whole home needs clearing, estate cleanout services covers how a full-house job is priced and run.
What we can and cannot handle
We handle the clutter, the furniture, the trash, the hauling, and the disposal, including heavy, deep-clutter homes. We are not a cleaning or remediation company. If a home has significant biohazard, mold, pest infestation, or structural damage, that needs a licensed specialist, and we will tell you plainly when that is the case and work alongside them as the hauling piece.
When a specialist is the right call
Hoarding is often tied to grief, trauma, or a mental-health condition, and the cleanup goes better with the right support. For some families the right first call is a professional organizer, a therapist experienced with hoarding, or a biohazard remediation team, and we are glad to work alongside them. We would rather say so honestly than take on what we are not the right fit for.
If the home is being cleared to sell, our guide to selling a hoarder house walks through the timeline and the order of operations, and cleaning out a parent's home covers the family side of a big clear-out.
